The Golden Year of Pickleball: The Unprecedented Success of Team Zcebra in 2024

If something is clear, it’s that 2024 will be remembered as the year our pickleball team dominated everything. Literally. We set high goals, and like good stubborn players, we didn’t stop until we broke them. From national to international tournaments, there was no court, net, or rival that could stand against us. We brought home medals by the handful and continued making history!

More Tournaments than Days Off

This year was insane. Holidays? No way. Our calendar was packed with over 50 tournaments, and we didn’t go sight-seeing, that’s for sure. Each event was a new opportunity to show that we are the kings and queens of the court. Among our major tournaments:

• Spanish Open

• Spanish Championship
• European Master Finals

What’s the total outcome for the year?

Over 220 medals, of which 115 were gold. Not that we’re counting, but… well, yes, we are counting because it’s a tremendous achievement!

We Played, Fought, and Won

Every match was a battle, and every medal was a hard-fought victory. In singles, we proved to be true titans on the court. But when it comes to doubles and mixed teams, things got even more serious. Our pairs were pure dynamite! Coordination, strategy, and a bit of magic made our teams explode the scoreboard at every tournament.

It wasn’t easy. We faced opponents who came to play hard, but we fought for every point. Every serve and smash was a declaration of intent: we are here to win.

Our Unwavering Fans: Our Crew

None of this would have been possible without our people. From the coaches who cheer us on (affectionately) at practice to the fans who give it their all at each match. This year, we not only played for ourselves; we played for all of you. The energy you gave us was the fuel to keep going, even in the toughest moments.

Moreover, it was amazing to see how much pickleball grew in 2024. There are more and more players, more tournaments, and more people getting hooked on this sport. It’s incredible to be part of this revolution!

Are we proud? Absolutely. This year was the start of something bigger. We won medals, broke records, and most importantly, proved that we are an unstoppable team. But this isn’t where it ends. We’re already looking ahead to 2025, ready to keep shaking up the courts, adding victories, and taking pickleball to another level.

So, everyone get ready, because if you thought we gave it our all this year… next year we’re going to bring even more heat!
